Kexgill had a victorious end to 2019 having again enjoyed recognition by picking up a victory at a national award ceremony.
The 12th annual Student Accommodation Conference & Awards, organised by Property Week events, took place on Wednesday 11 December 2019 at the InterContinental London – The O2.
Kexgill picked up the “Innovation of the Year Award” for their unique “University Quarter” located in Hull. Working with the University of Hull and Hull City Council, Kexgill breathed new life into the universities’ tired student accommodation. They also collaborated with Love Your Street and local businesses helping to create a host of new events and services including; a community kiosk, free pizza and ice cream days and an experimental area featuring pop-up retail and leisure outlets.
Managing Director Richard Stott, who was a speaker at the Conference, spoke of the success; “This is another fantastic victory and is testament to all the hard work that the team have put into this project.”
