The second annual Housing Awards were presented on Thursday, 24th March and recognise the providers of student accommodation in Middlesbrough and individual staff members who students feel have gone the extra mile.
Georgina Arksey, Vice-President Welfare at TUSU said: “…it was great to see hundreds of students take the opportunity to recognise their landlords or letting agents as well as the individual staff members they feel have gone the extra mile for them. It’s clear from their feedback in the Rate Your Landlord Survey we ran that they feel the winners do a really good job for students and we congratulate them all…we’ll be working with all the local landlords and letting agents this summer to keep improving their standards through a new accreditation system we’ll be announcing soon.”
